Article Syndication: Still Works After the Last Panda Google Review?
You have probably heard how powerful article marketing and article syndication is for your SEO efforts. No wonder, it is powerful… but there are some pitfalls that makes article marketing either difficult or ineffective.
Let’s see what I mean:
- After the recent Google Panda Review much weight has been put on unique and quality content. Google is committed to provide the best users experience and therefore crappy content sites are being devaluated.
- The syndication of the same article to dozens or even hundreds of directories is simply useless. Google will simply not index and not count all of the duplicate content. It is different if you submit a unique article to every article directory.
- Manual syndication of articles is a painstaking task. If you have done it before, you know what I mean
- To get tangible results, article creation and submission has to be done on a consistent basis
- Most of the article directories are becoming more strict on the quality requirements for articles submitted.
- What if you have a few or dozens of websites. How could you handle this?
Notwithstanding, article marketing and article syndication is still a powerful marketing tool since you get the benefit of backlinks (with anchor text) and direct traffic from article directories. But you have to please Google, the article directories guidelines and, of course, your readers as well.
Is there a simple solution to come around the problem of article syndication?
There are some solutions indeed. One of them is the obvious solution of outsourcing your article syndication task. Although the good services out there are rather pricey.
The ideal solution should solve all of the needs: quality content, wide article syndication in plenty of article directories to produce a great deal of backlinks and it should be cost-effective.
